A Practice Built Around the Patience This Work Deserves

Heirwell was founded in Si Racha to meet a quiet need: helping families talk about things that matter, and put the right papers in the right places, before circumstances force the conversation.

How Heirwell Came to Be

Heirwell began with a straightforward observation: most families in Thailand, whether long-established or newly rooted, carry a pile of intentions about record-keeping and legacy planning that never quite become actions. Not because of indifference โ€” but because the subject feels enormous, and no obvious first step presents itself.

The founders of Heirwell had worked across educational facilitation, family communication, and operational consulting before deciding to focus specifically on this gap. The question they kept returning to was simple: what does a family actually need to do โ€” as a first, practical step โ€” when it wants to bring order to its records and have clearer conversations about what comes next?

The answer turned out to be more accessible than most families assume. It doesn't start with lawyers or accountants (though those professionals have an important role to play). It starts with knowing where your documents are, understanding what's missing, and sitting down with the people you care about to say what you'd like to happen.

Heirwell was registered in Chonburi province and has operated from its Si Racha office since 2021. The work remains small by design โ€” personalised sessions, careful preparation, and follow-through that treats each family's situation as its own.

What We're Here to Do

Our purpose is to make the topic of estate and legacy organisation less daunting โ€” not by simplifying what is genuinely complex, but by separating what families can do themselves from what requires professional engagement.

The sessions we run are educational. We provide frameworks, prompts, and organised information. We help families see what they have, identify what's absent, and โ€” where relevant โ€” understand which professionals to approach and what questions to bring them.

We don't offer legal, tax, financial, or estate planning advice, and we are careful to say so clearly and often. What we offer is structure, facilitation, and general information that makes the conversations families need to have a little more possible.

Our Founding Values

  • Patience โ€” this work moves at the family's pace, not ours
  • Clarity โ€” plain language over professional jargon
  • Honesty โ€” about what we do, and what we don't
  • Discretion โ€” every family's situation is treated as its own

How We Work

Running well-considered sessions requires care in how we prepare, how we communicate, and how we handle what families share with us.

Session Preparation

Each session is prepared with reference to the specific situation the family or business has shared with us. We don't run one-size sessions โ€” we adapt the framework to the group.

Information Handling

Anything shared with us before, during, or after a session is treated with discretion. We follow clear data handling practices and don't pass personal information to third parties without your knowledge.

Scope Boundaries

We are consistent about what our sessions cover and what they don't. When a question falls into legal, financial, or other regulated territory, we say so and point toward appropriate professionals.

Facilitation Ethics

Our facilitators hold a neutral position in family conversations. We don't advocate for particular outcomes. The session creates space; the family decides what to do with it.

Follow-Up Access

Participants can return to us with questions that arise after a session. We don't consider the engagement closed the moment the session ends.

Cultural Awareness

We work with both Thai and expatriate families, and we bring care to the ways that family structure, values, and expectations vary. Sessions are conducted in English with sensitivity to Thai context.

A Considered Approach to Generational Organisation

Estate and legacy organisation sits at an intersection that most families find uncomfortable โ€” it touches money, relationships, mortality, and obligation, often all at once. The typical response is to defer. A seminar, a conversation, or a workshop doesn't resolve all of that. But it creates a starting point.

Heirwell's approach draws on established facilitation practice and plain-language information design. We organise what families typically need to know into accessible, practical frameworks. We provide reference points for official sources. And we hold space for the kinds of conversations that, left unaided, often don't happen.

Our work sits clearly outside regulated professional practice. We offer nothing that constitutes advice in law, finance, or taxation. What we offer is structure, context, and facilitation โ€” tools that help families do the preparatory work that professionals can then build on.

For families with mixed Thai and international backgrounds, for business owners thinking about who takes over and how, and for individuals who simply want their paperwork to reflect their intentions โ€” the sessions Heirwell runs represent a calm, unhurried starting point.
